Travel Plan

Arrival & Rest || 7th November1

Arrival & Rest || 7th November

Hanbok Rental

We start the day by dressing up in hanboks, Korea’s traditional outfits that instantly make the day feel more cinematic. It’s not just about the photos (though yes, they’ll be stunning). It’s about feeling part of something really beautiful.

Changdeokgung & Secret Garden

Then we head to Changdeokgung Palace. It’s quieter than the others, but easily the most peaceful. The Secret Garden feels like a place holding stories. Hidden ponds, tall trees, and quiet corners where time moves a little slower. We take our time here.

Insadong

Next, a slow walk through Insadong. Think calligraphy corners, ceramic shops, and tea houses that feel like they’ve been around forever. It’s that perfect mix of artsy and traditional, where you end up leaving with something unexpected but meaningful.

Sunset in Haebangchon

We end the day in Haebangchon, a hillside neighbourhood with indie cafés and rooftop views. Golden hour here is special. We find a cosy spot, watch the city lights come on, and let the day settle.

SEOUL – STREET COLOURS & SKY MOMENTS || 9th November

Namsan Tower & Lovelock Bridge

We start the day with a cable car ride up to Namsan Tower. The views get better with every step as the whole city opens up below. At the top, there's the Lovelock Bridge where people from around the world leave little pieces of their stories. We know it’s a bit touristy, but no Korea tour is complete without a visit to this place.

Ihwa Mural Village

Next, we head to Ihwa Mural Village, a quiet hillside neighbourhood filled with art. Painted staircases, tiny cafés, and unexpected corners full of colour. It’s calm, creative, and easy to get lost in.

Nodeul Island Picnic

We wrap up the day with a picnic on Nodeul Island, right in the middle of the Han River. Think open green spaces, music floating through the air, and the soft light of evening settling in. A peaceful pause in the middle of the city.

JEONJU – ROOFTOPS, RITUAL AND REST || 10th November

  • Travel to Jeonju

We take the KTX to Jeonju, a city known for its deep history, slow charm, and preserved traditions. The pace shifts the moment we arrive.

  • Gyeonggijeon Shrine

Our first stop is Gyeonggijeon Shrine, home to the portrait of King Taejo, founder of the Joseon dynasty.

  • Omokdae & Jaman Mural Village

From there, we walk up to Omokdae, a small hilltop pavilion with views over the Hanok rooftops below. Just nearby is Jaman Mural Village, full of colour and quirky street art tucked into winding lanes.

  • Traditional Tea House

Next, we pause at a traditional tea house in the heart of the Hanok Village. Here, you can savour delicate Korean teas served, a moment of calm before more exploring. (tea expenses are not included)

  • Jeonju Hanok Village

We spend the evening exploring Jeonju Hanok Village, one of the most beautiful in Korea. Traditional homes, craft workshops, slow food spots, and the smell of freshly made choco pies in the air. It’s all made to wander.

  • Hanok Stay

We end the day with a hanok stay — sleeping on warm floors in a traditional wooden home. It’s quiet, grounding, and something you’ll probably remember more than any hotel ever.

BUSAN - COLOURS OF BUSAN | SUNSETS & SAUNAS || 11th November2

BUSAN - COLOURS OF BUSAN | SUNSETS & SAUNAS || 11th November

  • Travel to Busan

We leave Jeonju behind and head to Busan by bus. It’s a smooth ride, and by the time we reach, the sea air already feels like a shift in pace.

  • Huinnyeoul Culture Village

Our first stop is Huinnyeoul Culture Village, a quiet coastal neighbourhood filled with pastel houses, sea views, and tiny galleries tucked into alleyways. It’s slower, softer, and full of charm, a good place to wander without a plan.

  • Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge

Next, we visit the Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge. The walk gives you the sea on both sides and just the right amount of thrill. It’s beautiful, breezy, and the sunset makes you feel happy from within.

  • Spaland Korean Bathhouse Experience

In the evening, we wind down at Spaland, one of Korea’s most loved jjimjilbangs. Warm pools, sauna rooms, and a full reset after the day’s travel. It’s a bit of a local ritual, and an experience in itself.

Note: Shinsegae Spaland includes public hot tubs (same gender), saunas, and lounge areas. Massages are not included.

Overnight in Busan | Meals: Breakfast

BUSAN - TEMPLE BY THE SEA, BEACH TRAIN & YACHT || 12th November3

BUSAN - TEMPLE BY THE SEA, BEACH TRAIN & YACHT || 12th November

  • Temple by the Sea

We begin the day with a visit to Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, a rare seaside temple set along the cliffs of the East Sea. With waves crashing below and prayer flags fluttering above, the space feels sacred and cinematic all at once. Photos don’t quite capture how peaceful it feels in person.

  • Beach Train Ride

Next, we hop on the Haeundae Beach Train. It’s slow, colourful, and kind of dreamy — like a toy train with views of the ocean. A mix of retro charm and postcard-worthy scenery.

  • Café Stop in Haeundae

After the ride, post lunch, we pause for coffee at a café. Think clean interiors, coastal breeze, and time to just sit back and take it all in.

  • Evening on a Yacht

We close the day with a yacht ride along the Busan coastline. As the sun sets, the city lights come on and the sea turns glassy. A quiet, glowy end to the day.

  • Windy Hill

Our first stop is Windy Hill, where tall grass sways with the sea breeze and a wooden windmill stands watch over the cliffs. It’s breezy, quiet, and feels like something out of a storybook.

  • Historic Park of Geoje POW Camp

Next, we visit the POW Camp Historic Park, a place that holds stories from the Korean War. It offers a deeper look into the country’s past.

  • Geoje Cable Car

We take the Geoje Cable Car up into the hills for sweeping views of the sea and surrounding islands. It’s slow and scenic and has the best view ever.

  • BBQ Night

Tonight, we share a Korean BBQ with locals, prepping and cooking together, enjoying good food and even better company. It’s a chance to connect, share stories, and soak up the real vibe of Korea. Don’t worry, it’s vegetarian-friendly too, so everyone’s included. Feel free to bring a dish or snack from your own culture to share, it’s always more special when everyone brings a little piece of home to the table.

"My trip to South Korea in April was fantastic! I explored Seoul, Busan, Jeju, Jeonju, Nami Island, Gangneung, and the DMZ, each with its own charm. I especially loved discovering local food joints and indulging in some great shopping. While the first two days had poor weather that affected some plans, the rest of the journey was smooth and memorable. We did face long wait times at Lotte Adventure Park and Namsan Tower, so starting a bit earlier or having indoor alternatives would have helped. That said, the itinerary was well-paced, budget-friendly, and thoughtfully crafted. The Dillydallyonwheels team, Anisha, Reetu, Sunny, and Hara were incredibly kind, responsive, and supportive throughout. Their effort really showed in how smoothly everything ran. Highly recommend traveling with them for a fun, well-managed Korean adventure!"

Everything—from accommodation, food, sightseeing, to transport—was taken care of perfectly. Korea is stunning, but experiencing it with Dillydallyonwheels made it magical.
